Privacy Policy

Evarlio handles career information that can be deeply personal. This policy explains what we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.

Information we process

  • Account information, including your email address, sign-in provider, and basic account metadata.
  • Career-profile information you choose to add, such as contact details, experience, education, projects, skills, languages, awards, and professional links.
  • Job descriptions, generated resumes, interview-preparation briefs, cover letters, edits, titles, application contacts, meeting details, and private journey notes you save in the service.
  • Limited service records needed to keep the product reliable, protect accounts, manage credits, prevent misuse, and resolve support requests.
  • Messages and information you choose to send to support. Do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details, or an unredacted resume unless specifically needed and requested.

Resume imports

For PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, and pasted-text imports, Evarlio processes the text needed to prepare an import draft. The original source file is not kept after that draft is prepared, but the extracted text may contain personal details from your resume.

Only entries that you review and confirm are written to your master profile.

Limited import records may be kept to manage usage and investigate failures, but they do not contain the original resume text. Scanned or unsupported files may be rejected.

How we use information

  • Provide authentication, your reusable master profile, tailored resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, saved job-description profiles, application tracking, role-scoped contacts, and private progress notes.
  • Operate credits, prevent duplicate charging, enforce fair-use limits, diagnose failures, and protect the service from abuse.
  • Respond to support, privacy, accessibility, security, billing, refund, and dispute requests.
  • Improve reliability and product experience using aggregated or minimized operational information. We do not sell your personal information or use your career data for targeted advertising.

AI-assisted features and service partners

When preparing resume and cover-letter drafts, Evarlio removes common direct identifiers such as name, email, phone number, and web links where practical. Other career details needed for the requested draft may still be processed by AI service partners. Resume-import text can include the personal details present in the document you provide.

Evarlio uses service partners where needed for account access, data storage, AI-assisted processing, account messages, support, and payments. Each partner receives only the information reasonably needed for its role.

Evarlio does not use your career profile, job descriptions, or drafts to train a general-purpose AI model. Service partners may process information under their own privacy and retention terms, and may do so in other countries.

Public-site analytics

Evarlio uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to the ten public information pages and understand aggregate page popularity, referring sites, general location, browser, operating system, and device type. We do not send page views from authentication, account, career-profile, generation, application-history, billing, or settings routes. Query parameters, account identifiers, career content, and custom interaction events are not included.

Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies. It uses a request-derived hash for anonymous aggregate statistics and discards that visitor-session identifier after 24 hours. Analytics results are not linked to your Evarlio account or used for advertising.

Payments

Payment and billing information is entered on the secure payment page and used to complete the transaction, prevent fraud, calculate any required taxes, and meet legal obligations.

Evarlio receives only the order information needed to deliver credits, provide support, handle refunds and disputes, and keep required financial records. Evarlio does not receive or store full card numbers.

Storage and retention

  • Career profiles, saved application materials, and journey records remain until you delete the relevant record or request account deletion.
  • A short-lived recovery record used to protect password reset expires after about one hour or is cleared when the recovery flow ends. Other essential browser storage is described in the Cookie Policy.
  • Operational metadata and support messages are retained only as reasonably needed for quotas, reliability, account security, support, abuse prevention, and legal claims.
  • Transaction, credit, refund, dispute, and audit records may need to remain after account closure for applicable legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and accounting periods.
  • Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted backups before routine deletion. We may also preserve information when required by law or necessary to resolve a security incident or dispute.

Security

We use access controls, protected credentials, careful validation, and activity records intended to protect accounts and detect misuse. No online service can promise absolute security. Use a sign-in method you control and do not store information that is unnecessary for the service.

Cookies and local storage

Evarlio uses storage needed for authentication, security and password recovery, language preference, and access authorization. Public-site analytics are cookieless and limited as described above; we have not added advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy for the current list and controls.

Your choices

  • Review, correct, or delete career and application information using the available product controls.
  • Export the master profile in supported formats. For a broader copy of account information, contact support.
  • Delete individual generated resumes and their associated edits, contacts, meeting details, and progress notes.
  • Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where those rights apply in your jurisdiction. We may verify your identity and will explain if a legal exception prevents part of a request.
  • Choose not to use AI import or generation features and maintain your profile manually.

International processing and age

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their locations and legal protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Evarlio is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

Changes and privacy requests

We may update this policy as the product, processing practices, or legal requirements change. When appropriate, material changes will be explained in the product or before they take effect.

Evarlio is responsible for the handling of personal information described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests for access, correction, or deletion can be submitted through the Contact page.
